EES was founded in 2001 by the late Jill K. Hassler-Scoop. Her vision is being carried forward by a team of people who all believe in the mission of educating instructors and therefore improving the lives of horses and riders everywhere. Each individual member of the EES staff has unique strengths, creating a group that works collaboratively to make an effective and unique education program. One of the foundational sources of material for the EES Program is the work of Eckart Meyners, as presented as the Balimo™ Program. EES is THE North American sponsor for Eckart Meyners' work and for the Balimo™ Chair. With the help of Mr. Meyners and Hannes Müller, as primary faculty members, the EES team is working to revolutionize the education of instructors in the United States.
